The Round Pen

The Round Pen Program is an inclusive, veteran-led initiative created to ensure that no veteran is excluded from the healing power of connection with horses due to physical limitations. This program welcomes esteemed veterans who may not be able to ride, offering them the opportunity to engage meaningfully on the ground in a safe, supportive environment.

Within the round pen, veterans sit with the horses and experience a powerful, nonverbal connection—horse to veteran—rooted in trust, presence, and mutual awareness. The program is experienced alongside fellow veterans, fostering camaraderie, peer support, and a renewed sense of belonging
